C+R Research is looking for a Research Analyst to work as part of our YouthBeat project team to manage the day-to-day function of YouthBeat syndicated and custom client projects. Involved in all aspects of YouthBeat, from operations through fully developed written reports and other deliverables. 

Position Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Manage ongoing YouthBeat surveys and services, including:  field, questionnaire design, survey programming, quality control, data processing, report creation, and video editing.
  • Create tabulation plans and banner specifications.
  • Quality check detailed tabulations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Check questionnaire programs online.
  • Pull and/or update data in YouthBeat PowerPoint decks/presentations.
  • Proof data in reports (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Run data requests in the YouthBeat portal or other software (Ruby Laser, Q, etc.)
  • Participate in writing and editing the standard and custom YouthBeat deliverables (Currents, Custom decks, Yearbook, Trendspotter, blogs, etc.)
  • Develop custom client reports including: presentation set-up, data posting, qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis and editorial write-up.  This will also include writing conclusions and identifying opportunities or recommendations that address clients’ business issues.
  • Help to maintain client relationships by providing excellent client service and timely delivery of results.
  • Conduct client training sessions for the YouthBeat portal.
  • Collaborate with other analysts/project teams (quantitative and qualitative) on an as needed basis.
  • Attend client meetings and presentations as needed.

Other Duties:

  • Keep up-to-date and knowledgeable about youth culture, as well as clients’ businesses, industries and/or customers.
  • Contribute to the overall organization by offering ideas and suggestions for improving processes and/or C+R’s products and services.
  • Keep abreast of industry changes.
  • Share knowledge and experience with C+R staff.
  • Special projects as required.
  • Regular attendance.
Skills & Experience
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience conducting custom marketing research projects.
  • Experience conducting research studies over the Internet and/or using a pre-recruited panel to conduct surveys is a plus.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • A proven record of exemplary client service.
  • Ability to juggle numerous concurrent projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Significant, hands-on experience using Microsoft Office products.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Working Condition & Benefits

Office environment.  May require some travel to client sites.
