Amy Henry joined C&R in 2010 as Vice President of Youth Insights. Amy oversees and serves as thought leader for YouthBeat, C&R's on-going lifestyle and behaviors study of kids, tweens and teens and their parents. Amy brings extensive experience as a youth expert and an enduring commitment to understanding how youth culture reflects and affects who kids and teens are and what they do.
Amy has worked for nearly 12 years as a researcher and strategist focused on helping companies develop products and brands that successfully meet the needs of kids, tweens and teens, as well as their parents. Amy has worked with best-in-class kid brands and organizations including Nickelodeon, MTV, Scholastic, Crayola and Boy Scouts of America, and she has also worked extensively with powerhouse packaged goods companies including P&G, Kellogg, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, and Kraft. Amy started her career at Leo Burnett, and before joining C&R, she was an Account Supervisor at The Geppetto Group, a Partner and head of the kids' practice at Insight Research Group, and Managing Director of Research and Strategy at Just Kid Inc.
Amy has written for numerous publications on topics ranging from creating "buzz" among teens to figuring out today's family dynamics and is a frequent speaker at youth conferences.
Amy received her B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and her Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard's Graduate School of Education. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and son.
