Erika joined C+R in 2006 and is primarily involved in quantitative research, including concept and promotional testing, market segmentation, tracking studies, product positioning, advertising awareness, customer satisfaction, and business-to-business research.  Erika services a variety of industries including retail, cable TV (infrastructure and content), CPG, food & beverages, and entertainment.

Prior to joining C+R, Erika was a Project Director at an independent market research firm that specializes in online consumer and business-to-business panels.

Erika holds a BA in Marketing Communications from Columbia College Chicago, where she focused on Creative Sports Marketing.

  • What's the best part about working at C+R?

    The team that I am a part of and the mentorship I have had over the years, with opportunities to grow as a researcher.

  • How did you get into the market research industry?

    I went to school for sports marketing, but I didn't like the idea of starting my career in ticket sales. So, I thought about the market research class I had taken in school and how looking at data would be somewhat similar to looking at stats in sports, which I had always enjoyed. When I got out of school, I applied to a smaller market research firm in Chicago and got my start in the industry! 

  • If you weren't in market research, what profession would you like to attempt?

    I would love to have played sports (soccer or running) for a living!

  • What's your favorite restaurant in Chicago and what do you order there?

    Beatrix – I love their Straight A salad with salmon.

  • What's the best piece of advice you ever received?

    Look beyond the fear to the potential.
