Gina joined C+R in 2003 as a quantitative intern and joined the team full time in 2004. Gina's primary focus at C+R is quantitative research for consumer packaged goods, health and beauty, pet care, and financial services.  While at C+R, Gina has worked on a variety of projects, though mainly focusing on segmentation, attitudes and usage, advertising, and concept and product testing.  She has experience with a variety of methodologies including mobile and qual/quant hybrid techniques.  And across many projects, she works closely with the qualitative team incorporating insights from both traditional focus groups as well as online communities. Gina received a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from Illinois State University. 

How did you get into the market research industry?

My mom worked at Fieldwork Chicago when I was younger, so I have been exposed to research most of my life.  For whatever crazy reason, I was fascinated with focus groups as a kid!  I worked at Fieldwork Chicago as a phone recruiter in high school, which led to an internship at C+R.  As they say, the rest is history!

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

Spending time with my husband and baby girl, Clare.  Joe and I love traveling and taking weekend trips.  Clare, in her very short life, has had a decent tour of the Midwest! 

What's one thing you can't live without?

My iPhone.  It helps keep me connected to my family and friends, allows me to keep track of my very busy schedule,  and, most importantly, enables me to log on and watch Clare play and sleep on the nanny cam (can you tell I’m a new mom?!).

What is your favorite word?

"Yes." I do my very best to accept every invitation, both personally and professionally. If someone needs help, I always try to lend a hand.
