Gretchen Hower, Vice President, Advanced Analytics, joined C+R in 2004.  Gretchen directs the application of advanced statistical techniques such as segmentation, discrete choice and max-diff experiments, structural equation modeling, TURF analysis, brand mapping, pricing analysis, and decision trees to a variety of research studies.  She is also responsible for developing models of brand strength and consumer behavior. 

Gretchen brings extensive experience in modeling and forecasting from work in political science and finance.  Prior to joining C+R, she worked as a research scientist at a company that develops and applies statistical forecasting techniques. Gretchen has also been an Assistant Professor at Michigan State where she taught politics, statistics, and mathematics in the Political Science Department. Gretchen has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
