meet Katherine
Katherine brings over a decade of experience in qualitative research, with deep expertise in ethnographic methods such as in-home interviews, shop-alongs, online discussions, participant observation, and focus groups. With a background in cultural anthropology, Katherine approaches research with a strong foundation of empathy—an essential lens through which she uncovers the values, motivations, and behaviors that drive consumer decision-making.
Throughout her career, Katherine has led hundreds of interviews across a range of industries, including major retailers, CPG brands, and organizations within the arts and culture sector. She is especially skilled at managing mixed-methods engagements, seamlessly integrating qualitative and quantitative insights to deliver strategic, actionable solutions for clients.
Katherine holds a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work is guided by a people-first philosophy, whether engaging with consumers, collaborating with clients, or mentoring colleagues.
