Kathleen Blum joined C+R Research in 2021. She has over 30 years of marketing, strategy, consumer insights, and shopper insights experience on both the client and supplier sides. Kathleen leads our ShopperEyes ® practice, which leverages a suite of customizable, quantitative and qualitative approaches to create innovative solutions for manufacturers and retailers facing the ever-changing retail landscape and shopper expectations.
Prior to joining C+R, Kathleen worked for Champion Petfoods, Mars, MillerCoors, W.W. Grainger, Willard Bishop Consulting and Jim Beam Brands International. She is a recipient of the Path to Purchase Institute’s Who’s Who in Shopper Insights and is responsible for driving significant increases in category captaincies at MillerCoors and Mars through actionable shopper insights. She also built global insights capabilities at Champion Petfoods that led to differentiating brand strategies and innovation. A deep understanding of the consumer and the shopper is at the heart of Kathleen’s passion to building successful brand strategies, breakthrough innovation, engaging shopper marketing, and category leadership programs.
Kathleen graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.
